APOSTLE’S CREED - I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to Judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost: the Church Universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. #626  “Gloria Patri”

THE OFFERTORY - TITHES & OFFERING

Stewardship Prayer: O Lord, giver of life and source of our freedom, we know that it is from Your hand that we have received all that we have, and are and will be. Gracious and loving God, we understand that You called us to be stewards of Your Abundance, the caretaker of all You have entrusted to us. Help us always to use Your gifts wisely and teach us to share them generously May our faithful Stewardship bear witness to the love of Christ in our lives. Gracious God, let LOVE guide us in the use of our time. Let LOVE guide us in the use of our abilities. Let LOVE guide us in the use of our resources. Let LOVE guide us in our commitment. We pray with grateful hearts in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.

Thought for Today

“We don’t need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity.  What we need is to use what we have.”

Scripture Reading for the Week

THE TEMPEST STILLED . Mark 4:35-41

“Jesus is with us throughout all our trials of life.

If we doubt Him, we do not know Him as we should.”

Thought for Prayer

Lord, our one resolution for the coming year is to love one another, even as You love us. Help us to keep this word.

If you give 1/10 of these in a committed way God will multiply them.

Be lifted up, be lifted up.

O Lord, be lifted up.

For you are worthy, righteous and holy,

O Lord, be lifted up!
